  • I served as the San Juan County Council Member from District #2 2013 - 2020.

  • My wife and I operate Ray’s Pharmacy and Island Life on Orcas.

  • I have been in business for over 30 years. We have worked hard over the last several years to get our community through hard times.

  • I have a nineteen-year-old son who attends SMU in Dallas, my alma mater.

  • I am a big supporter of the San Juan Land Bank.

  • My son is a sixth-generation Orcas Island resident. My grandfather’s Doe Bay cottage was built in the 1930s.

  • During the Covid 19 pandemic, Ray’s Pharmacy provided over 5000 + shots and over 500 PCR and antigen that I administered.

  • I have served on boards and commissions in the San Juans for the last almost 20 years; EPRC, EWUA, Opportunity Council, Orcas Farmers Market, NW Regional Council, WSF FAC, VAB, Orcas PTA, youth baseball and basketball coach, Land Bank, LTAC Chair, WSAC Transportation Committee, NACO Transportation, Joint Transportation Committee County Rep for Transportation planning, Passenger Only ferry PSRC work group, NWRTA (Farm House Gang).
